Anupriya is an Entrepreneur, Brand Strategist, Digital Marketer, Mentor, Leader, and Change Enabler. She is the Founder of Maxworth Impact – a boutique setup to help brands and professionals at all levels for reaching out to the audience. Let’s learn more about her exciting journey, her background and her advice for our growing community.
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Anupriya:
Talk us through your background and your journey so far and key career highlights, please;
I am a Lucknow born and brought-up girl who is a social enthusiast and confides a lot in chai. I am the founder of Maxworth Impact, a Brand Marketing, Digital Media, and Communications firm that provides Branding Strategies, Consultation for Marketing, Social Media Content, Performance Marketing Campaigns, Visual content etc.
Well, I am known to be someone who is extremely passionate about marketing, communication, networking, and its relevance as a platform to form bonds, which draws me towards this field, and adds to my experience of being a Brand Enabler.
I have over 12 years of experience in different sectors – Education, Fashion, Hospitality, Government etc as a Project Manager and Brand Consultant and Social Media Specialist.
I am Global Shaper, at the Global Shapers Community, by World Economic Forum, a member at the Young Leaders Council, Delhi Chapter – AIMA, a facilitator and a mentor at Vruksh Ecosystem Foundation, member Faridabad Management Association, A Mentor at Abhyuday, the social body at IIT Bombay and an active volunteer in many organizations aiming to promote innovation, creativity & culture amongst the youth.
I have also been featured in a book – 30 Ways To Get Inspired by Pavan Badlani, and many other Digital Magazines.
How did the idea to launch this startup come into your mind?
I have always been inquisitive and excited to stay connected to people and the world around me. Right from the year 2010, when I started working in Lucknow till this year, when I am working as an Independent Consultant, I have too many memories and milestones to share.
Every organization or individual that I worked for added to my knowledge, experience and most importantly my personality. I always believed – as long as one could freely express – one could survive and that’s what urged me to take up communication as my professional arena.
I have almost 12 years of experience in various sectors, juggling between Marketing strategies, Digital Media & Social Media Content, Visual content, and peer-to-peer communication and training.
It is only after I came to Delhi (right after marriage) 6 years ago I realized how big this sector is and how unapproachable professionals are specially by smaller organizations, startups, NGOs and traditional business setups.
That is the time when I decided to work in an individual capacity for different clients to reach out to the audience in every manner possible.
‘I was on the path of rethinking business in affordable rates and most effective communication strategies. In the area of Instagram and slack, there were still people struggling to write emails and I felt they needed my help.’
What keeps you motivated despite all odds and challenges?
People around me – whether it’s my family, friends, colleagues, mentors, teachers, they have been my biggest motivation – their support, their love, their respect, the experiences that they share they have taught me to be grounded and yet move on in every situation.
I believe in myself and the world around, that’s what keeps me motivated at all times.
Is your startup currently bootstrapped or funded? What is the mission and vision of your venture?
We are Bootstrapped for now and wish to continue what we are doing.

I offer Brand Marketing Strategies Particularly Digital Media, Planning and Execution. I provide content, coordinate with the team, and building up and training of the members if required to let the brand speak for itself.

The world is a huge stage where everyone gets a part to play, so one should judge the least and keep working hard to reach upto a level.
What advice would you give to our readers?
Always network, always express and share opinions, meet people and discuss your issues.
No brand or organization can work without it. Make sure you know where you are headed.
What about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?
The amount of respect and appreciation I get, the satisfaction when a brand owner continues working for even 3-4 years is what makes it satisfying and new avenues – new sectors make it exciting. I don’t have to confine myself to a limited audience.
