Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Ashima:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
My professional journey so far has helped me to become a Strong and Independent woman that I have always aspired to be and to help others in a better way possible. I am now on a mission to help others heal and grow,
After completing my Graduation and courses like NTT or ECC (EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE EDUCATION ). I worked for 5 stretching years and then I got married.
There were lots of reponsibilites after my marriage in terms of pursuing my interest and on top of that I have to look after my mother-in-law who was bedridden.”
As a married woman and after being a mother I had to go through a lot of things but it didn’t really didn’t stop me. Despite the difficulties, I continued to educate myself in the field of Psychology and It’s been two years that I’ve established a name for myself and working really hard to even achieve more milestones.
Currently, I am working as a Mental Health Coach (Counsellor) which includes working on emotional and mental behaviour, Ho’oponopono Healer, EFT Trainer, Grief counsellor. Tarot card reading, Chakra Balancing/Healing, Reiki level 2, etc.
How did you discover your passion?
At first, I was really confused as I wasn’t sure about what I wanted to pursue further.
All I had in my mind was that I had to do something to stand on my own feet and to hold my head high there was this burning desire to do something and then I came across this profession.”
After that, I did lots of digging about it and it really moved me and inspired me and after that everything happened on its own, In a blink of an eye I started my YouTube channel and went deep into this subject and every path started to unfold itself.
In due course of time, these initiatives helped me identify the areas of my core passion psychology It was essentially about arriving at a just to explore what really resonated with my personality and life choices.
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
First, it was my desire to achieve my goals and then I got so much passionate about my work that it gave me no choice rather than keep moving forward. I think having a passion for something is the most powerful attribute that helps you in every setback.
I believe in having will-power to stand strong in front of everything that’s coming in your way or meant to destroy your vision. It just takes lots of strength to face setbacks but the most powerful thing a person can do is ‘Rise’ gracefully even after millions of challenges.”
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
Well, the first motivation always comes from your family as they are the pillars of strength in one’s life. When your loved ones believe so much in you then you just somehow get the strength to prove them right and make them proud.
Also, my desire to achieve something was so tremendous that it didn’t let me stop I knew I had to do that there’s no option I can fail this.
I knew this is my dream and no matter how many unproductive days I face or no matter how much criticism I has to face I had to do this for myself and for the people who believed in me as they deserve it too as much as I did.
Lately, I have already got habitual to it so much that atleast there’s one productive thing ai do in a day without ever trying and that’s called consistency and forming a pattern for yourself that contributes to your life.

What advice would you give to our readers?
As a Mental Health Coach, I just like to say that choosing this career for myself has been one of the best decisions of my life and It can be the same for you as well. As what’s better than helping people in need to heal people, to make them confront their fear and to make them overcome their years of trauma If I can do it then you can do it as well.
And this is for all the people who believe that Mental health is not as important as physical health then let me tell you it’s even more important than physical health as what goes through in your mind has a bigger impact on you or the people around you. So If you ever feel a need to reach to people or to get better then my advice would be to just take a step forward as that’s the only difficult step you have to take.
Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?
Getting great feedback from those who have been inspired by my social media content through my coaching sessions/programs amps up my energy to deliver more value to them. Seeing shifts in them and In their journey makes it satisfying because I see their success as my success and their breakthroughs as mine.
There’s no greater feeling than receiving wishes from the ones who have been part of my journey so far. People who have seen me growing and blooming into something beautiful or graceful.
