As part of this, we invited yet another young and passionate women entrepreneur Ayushi Kumar for an interview with BrilliantRead Media. She is an Entrepreneur, Coach, Image Consultant, Change Enabler and Influencer. Let’s learn more about her background, her inspiring journey so far and her advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Ayushi:
Talk us through your background and your journey?
I did my graduation and post-graduation in Business Administration. Born and raised in a Business Class family it was well suited for me to do my master’s and join my father and brother in the business.
I did start going to our manufacturing unit but it didn’t satisfy me one bit. I always kept on thinking of venturing into something of my own.”
My husband motivated me to find my passion that led me to doing a certificate course in Fashion Styling. I wanted to learn more and came across Image Consulting and Soft skill Training.
The happiness it gives me to empower another individual and help someone be the Best Version of themselves, I knew this was my calling. So I made my decision and plunged into entrepreneurship.
How did you discover your passion in ‘Coaching’?
I guess it was always my calling I just didn’t pay attention because it was something that came so naturally and effortlessly to me that it never seemed like work .
HAHA, I always thought that if something doesn’t give you stress it can’t be your work.I have always been mentoring, teaching, transforming, grooming all the people who were part of my life or ever came to me for suggestions .
My brother, cousins and family friends I am sure they all have a story to narrate that how I was an Image Consultant to them long before I got my formal training and got myself certified as an Image Consultant.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
My 4-year-old son, I see him look up to me and he wants to be like me it drives me every day to be a mother who he can be proud of.
He makes me give all that I have to my work and my home so that I can show him how it’s important to have a life of Balance where work and family both needs your time and your effort.
What are some strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
> Setting attainable Short term Goals
> Prioritising Continued learning
> Celebrating all big and small victories
> Embracing my shortcomings and imperfection
# Practising Self-love.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
In my opinion, the most important thing to success is to “GET UP AND SHOWUP”.
Every Morning you have two choices, continue to sleep with your Dreams or Wake up and Chase them.”
I feel showing up is the most important thing. Believing in your Dreams, Discipline, Consistency and Determination will get you all that you aspire.
What advice would you give to your readers?
“Perfection is the enemy of action an action is what moves you towards your Goal .”
Keep learning and growing. Investing in yourself is the best investment that you can ever make. I learn something from all my clients, peers or any sessions I attend .
Getting out of your comfort and saying yes to opportunities gives you an understanding of your own skills.
What about your journey makes it so satisfying/exciting?
The smiles, excitement, and Confidence of my Clients make it all so satisfying and exciting. I always wanted to touch people’s lives so that I can be remembered as someone who made a difference.
My work involves helping people feel better about themselves, can there be something better that one can do ? My work gives me the privilege to meet and interact with people from different walks of life, listening to their stories and understanding various points of view broadens my perspective and I always end up learning more from my clients .
