Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Dipti:

We are aware of your contributions to the ecosystem; talk us through your background and your journey, please;

I was always overweight and obese Kid, I was very good at studies, academics and was doing good in every front of my life but still, I was not happy with myself, and the way I want my life to be. To be honest I was never bullied by anyone for me being obese but I was not happy with myself.

After marriage, I had to give up on my hard-earned carrier which was another stressor, it made me more unstable, I will not lie but I tried my best on every front to make things work for me but somehow things were not in my favour, I was not putting my efforts in the right direction for my fitness as well as my carrier.

In 2020, I got introduced to quantified nutrition and strength training and there was no look back, I completed my education and certifications in 2020 and still continuously learning, now I got the correct path for both things, my carrier n fitness got direction and my passion turned into a profession.

How did you discover your passion as a ‘Fitness Coach’? 

I being on that side always know, how it feels when you don’t get a dress of your size and thus you have to wear clothes you don’t want to…I know how it feels when you feel fit and looking good is not my thing better, I get away from it…

I know how it feels not being uncomfortable in your own skin….When I started my journey, many people said these are their pain points and they feel good and inspired when they see me changing every day, I have that soft spot in my heart for everybody who thinks fitness is not their cup of tea and then I started helping friends and family members around me boosted their confidence, made them feel better about themselves uplifted their fitness and confidence, that’s how my journey as a fitness coach started.

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?

I simply visualize things and work towards it. I live with my husband and two daughters with not have much support system, but my husband knows how passionate I’m towards my work hence he himself being a busy professional his support is unconditional to manage the kids and home and carrier.

I’m a very unstable person, I m continuously challenging my abilities and setting goals for myself n hard working for it, this is just the beginning, I have many more goals to achieve.

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

I have pictures of my life in my mind, and that picture is a driving force for me, and another driving force are my daughters, I know who is looking at me, copying me, trying to be me, and I don’t want them to settle for less. That is driving me towards my goals.

What are some of the strategies that you believe has helped you grow as a person? 

(1) There is no replacement for hard work.

(2) I am optimistic and positive, I keep myself away from things which take my energy off

(3) Dare to dream and work for it.

Please share with us, how do you motivate your clients?

My focus is on helping clients understand, learn and explore the thing that works for them, not every individual is the same, so everyone’s journey is special and unique, has their own pace of growth.

Making them understand not to fall for quick fixes. Their communication with me is very important as then only I can provide them right guidance.

And I always tell my clients don’t look for motivation, because motivation never stays forever, we all work hard on our motivated days but what will make us stand out of crowd is when we work on demotivated days too… which needs discipline. So, work on discipline

You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?

Yes I’m always positive, but not always motivated, I have my ups and downs. Some days I’m super women and on other days I’m not… but I try to maintain discipline and discipline is what keeps me going.

What are the business mantras you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?

Giving back or helping everyone with the best of my capacity.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

I will say it straight that there are many factors but if you really have to have the key elements then to me these are the ones:

> Hard work

> Taking ownership of your own life and work towards it

> Setting up priorities and giving due importance to that

> Positive attitude and goal-oriented working

> Patience and consistency in your actions

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

Getting great feedback from those who have been inspired through my social media content, through my coaching sessions/programs amps up my energy to deliver more value to them.

Seeing shifts in them and in their journey makes it satisfying because I see their success as my success and their breakthroughs as mine.

There is nothing more satisfying than getting feedback from all of my clients and their transformations inside out because my client’s success is my success, seeing them transforming n inspiring the world around them.

Also, the love I received on Facebook for my Marathi content makes me more excited to work, I m just grateful for the things.
