Excerpts from our exclusive interview with him:
Tell us a little bit about your journey as an entrepreneur, please;
So I am a doctor by profession and have an entrepreneurial heart & soul. I have provided financial consultancy services to some of the most prominent companies ranging from the healthcare sector to non-government ventures in India and abroad. I have expertise in global business and social media marketing for direct selling to clients towards a diversified portfolio of companies such as Axis bank/Flipkart/Zomato/ Manipal group/Impact Guru/ to Commonwealth Developers.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
It is the financial freedom and time to further not just develop & promote but also uplift deserving members of the society. Plus, I am passionate about entrepreneurship. I just cherish the journey, the challenges and the achiemvments no matter h0w small or big.
What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?
Good Question. Honestly, life is too short to dwell in the past or to anticipate in the future am always fond of figuring out something niche or new, which may create a proposition for me and the public at large. I usually keep this mode on all the times and it serves the source of my motivation all the time. Grateful to god and every member in the community who guide and support me furthermore, I am currently in the process of developing something niche on lines.
What challenges/obstacles did you face in your journey so far?
Every business has risks. Our risks are associated with a right skillset that we look for expansion in future. We already have a core niche team but I see from future expansion perspective, we would need innovative minds, with the flexible thought process. Although, with a clearly defined process, and innovative means to reach out to search resource, we are confident enough that we will mitigate it.
What comes first for you – money or emotions?
Emotion is a byproduct of human nature. Business needs to have emotions, not personal, rather passion dedication and commitment along with teamwork, strategy and efficient collaborative effort towards the desired goal. Money is a basic priority to facilitate and sustain our survival as a company. I do firmly believe if your value creation process is right for others, the money will automatically follow as an outcome.
What is one strategy that you believe has helped you grow as a person/startup?
In my journey so far I would recommend the lean methodology and efficient time management & effective human resource management as some of the key strategies.
I also strongly feel as long as you are passionate and have a growth mindset, no challenges or obstacles can stop you.
What advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur?
Do what you love!
Add value to the lives of your clients.
Don’t just focus on money or investments but also keep your focus on creating a sustainable venture & value creation.
Self-improvement is also very critical to success as an entrepreneur.
