Let’s learn more about his exciting journey as an entrepreneur, his background and his advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with him:
Talk us through your background and your journey as an entrepreneur, please;
So I completed my higher secondary education from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. It is perhaps the remotest part of India but even in those circumstance I never lost hope and pushed myself hard to pursue my graduation in physiotherapy from NTR university, Vijaywada. I am originally from Siliguri, West Bengal – which is possibly the best part of the country. It has been a long journey with many ups and downs but I never gave up. I struggled hard in my profession and carved my own niche in this industry. I have also achieved significant success because of my hard work and support of my loved ones particularly Kabita Ravinder Joshi (Director), Nirmala Banskota (Director) and others. They all have made the journey more successful.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
I have dreamt of a life in an ecosystem where I will lead my life by my own capabilities which is free of terms and conditions. Like me, there are many people who are struggling in their respective life because of the restrictions. I chose entrepreneurship because I wanted my life to bloom to its fullest possible extent. When you are passionate about what you do, and when you love your work, it leads to prosperity and financial independence.
How do you find the industry/niche that you’re in?
The health sector is the best way to enrich own life and the life of others and as a contributor in society. There is a lot of competition but as long as you care about your clients and deliver excellent services, the competition won’t affect you. I also strongly believe if you keep developing effective solutions and treatments, you are bound to grow. That’s what we believe in. In fact, I want to share one wonderful story of my ultrasound gel that I created, I used to tell my parents that one day our gel may be used for our family and it absolutely became true, I have given sample to one of the respected hospital in Siliguri to Dr Reba Bisawas GYN and OBG, she tested heart beat of foetus and I was surprised to see the results of my ultrasound gel and feel proud of it. We have always believed in honest and pure quality of ABLENGK
What makes your venture different? What are the expansion plans of ABLENGK?
All the organisations are same but the mode of function is different. Being in healthcare is a blessing. With the help of God, we aim to cure all and support everyone in their respective fields. So to answer your question, helping others is our biggest USP. We love what we do and aim to help as many people as possible.
We offer the benefits to our employees and employer (partners). We have a mix of people in the team, senior team members with experience and young members. My personal view is to create multiple revenue streams for all those who are associated with us. Money or Success is always secondary but the right mindset is what we always look for.
As far as expansion is concerned, we are planning on a few things:
We are planning to distribute our physiotherapy franchise with unique facility and management system with latest digitalization
We also are promoting are unique products such as:
Ultrasound Gel,
Handwash is the second product
Yoga and Rehabilitation with management system
Recreation Center for kids and old with equipment and library
We also want to foray into Pharma and start our inpatient facilities
We are looking for strategic partners so those who want to be part of our organization will be benefit.
What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?
I love to prepare my next day usually a night before with lots of imagination, visualization, and self-realization and try to build it the next day with the same enthusiastic endeavor and positive vibes.
The sub-conscious mind always try to withdraw my attention and try to coercive in a different direction but determination binds me with the focused goal.”
What challenges/obstacles did you face in your journey so far?
Every journey has a perceived risk in it. I am a positive dreamer and believe in my dream. Challenges are on both fronts 1. Financial and 2. Social
1) Financial challenges- As we all are aware that 95% of entrepreneurs belong to middle-class families shall face this challenge. Since I didn’t have a luxury of nepotism. I need to create my own strata with a creative mind and innovative business model.
2) Social challenges- As society more inclined to believe the expression of phrases of a person with grey hair. As a youth, I have also faced the challenges to convince people and transmit my ideas.

What comes first for you – money or emotions?
I am an emotional person. Since a medical practitioner, I need to keep my emotions sideway while treating patient.
Of course, univocally money resides in second position (with a silver medal …. Laughter 😊) because it is also equally important.
How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?
A pressure cooker can handle pressure more efficiently. Since we are human being we need to live with it, not to handle it. The things which we don’t want in our life, why we should bother to manage it, Let it go its own way.
What is one strategy that you believe has helped you grow as a person/startup?
My service-oriented approach towards my patient. I feel that it has helped me to grow professionally.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
If there were keys for success then I would be the first person to pursue it. See, there is no blueprint for success, only success story will be there. It’s your choice which story you want to follow.
What advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur?
Only one piece of advice – believe in yourself then nobody in the world can turn you and your belief wrong.
