We are aware of your contributions to the ecosystem; talk us through your background and your journey, please;
My professional journey and my personal beliefs since the beginning have always deviated towards holistic living and holistic health.
I am a homoeopathic doctor by profession and have been practising clinic since 2012.
Being a holistic lifestyle believer I always wanted to explore other systems as well.”
Yoga was always a fascinating field for me so I turned my passion into my second profession as a yoga teacher and influencer two and a half years back.
How did you discover your passion?
As mentioned in the previous answer, I have been a believer of a holistic lifestyle since I started understanding the human body and the environment.
As I went into deeper knowledge during my doctorate alongside having a yearning of trying new things like meditation and yoga, I found my interest really lies in a holistic approach, to practise myself and to spread awareness about this beautiful field which gradually people are starting to appreciate.
With consistent practice, experimenting, learning and unlearning, I started to notice changes in my health physically and mentally which became a validation for me to start on this journey.”
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
There are two people I would like to mention here. One is my mother, who has nurtured me and developed me into the kind of human being I am today.
The second I would say is my husband who is carving me from the right places because he is one of the smartest and most balanced human I have ever seen. So his sayings are very important to me and always keeps me motivated.
What are some of the strategies that you believe has helped you grow as a person?
There are a few:
(1) Being calm, mindful and open-minded
(2) Being open to criticism and accepting my flaws
(3) Trying again and again even after repeated failures
(4) Ability to take risks and try new things
What advice would you give to our readers?
Health is the most important aspect of our life, physical and mental that to say. Nothing else comes first. Think about it, give it a deep thought you would come to this conclusion.
An individual with good health can take care of his family, his finances, his pleasures and the problems attached with them in a healthy way.”
And think about how an individual with poor health deal with such situations? So take care of yourself, give yourself time, pay attention to yourself and most importantly listen to yourself.
