Let’s learn more about her incredible journey, background, and valuable advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Gargi:
We are aware of your contributions to the ecosystem; talk us through your background and your journey, please;
It’s been 3 years since I have started my spiritual journey. Through this spiritual work, I have been able to help almost more than 500 people until now. The journey was unexpected and it’s still going on.
Not only this helped me to serve others but also pulled me out of my introvert nature and helped me made connections pan India and slowly expanding to overseas as well.
Getting the feedbacks on how clients receive their results really makes me so excited even after years of doing this work.
How did you discover your passion?
As I said earlier it was absolutely unexpected. I never thought or planned to learn the healing & tarot reading and pursue them as a career. It started with the intention of just helping my parents to heal them and slowly I start feeling to do it for others and today here I am pursuing this as a full-time business.
Before this, I have done everything job, internships in digital marketing, content writing and what not but I never felt passionate enough for all these until I found this work. This work makes my soul happy and that’s what matters.
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
So when I started my page, for almost a year I didn’t got much of the bookings. I was making hardly 2-5k in a month. But I kept going on with consistent posting on page and showing up.
Because my intention behind starting the page was not turning it into a full-time business so not getting clients and exposure didn’t bothered me much.
My main motive was to just come across people who I might help by this work and slowly I started getting viral in the healing community.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
My biggest source of motivation was to help and support my father financially. As the time I started this business covid hit and the financial crisis in the family were at peak.
So helping my father was my main intention and source of motivation. And I am lucky to have parents who were so supportive of this work.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
I think I won’t call them strategies but habits that helped me.
> Consistency
> Honesty with clients
> Giving my best
> Understanding the pain of others. By keeping myself in their shoes changed my perspective towards life a lot.
You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?
Not always positive and motivated. There were some days when I felt like not getting up and working.
Before I used to be like a person who no matter what worked every day even if I am tired. But that took a huge toll on me and then I realised that’s now how it works.
Now I give myself frequent breaks. Our work specifically requires us to be in a good state of mind body and soul so taking breaks and rejuvenating myself keeps me motivated and positive because I feel happy to have the independence of time.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
I think as per my experience:
– Patience is the biggest one as I never stopped showing up on my page for a year when I was not earning and after a year I started getting clients regularly.
– Honesty with myself. I never stopped myself from feeling low emotions. Such as if someday I am not feeling good enough about working I didn’t pushed myself to do it and that helped me to keep the quality of my work intact.
– Good relationship with clients.
What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?
If you want to pursue a career in spirituality, first always choose the teacher wisely as this is the kind of field where people spread a lot of misinformation. So choose your teacher wisely.
Second, this field chooses you, not you choose this. So if you are feeling a pull towards it then go for it.
Third, it’s a never-ending learning so never have this thought that now I know everything because you don’t and you will never. It’s infinite learning so always stay humble and open to learning it.
Fourth and last that I teach to all my clients and students is this is energy work and this requires you to have an open mind. So never put limitations such as this is possible and this is not. Because when you are in this field, everything is possible.
