Could you talk us through your background and your journey?
My journey in the field of nutrition has been one of continuous growth, dedication, and learning. From the very beginning, I was always passionate about nutrition and its impact on people’s health. After giving birth to my daughter, I was even more motivated to pursue my dreams. I decided to complete my Master’s in Nutrition while balancing the responsibilities of motherhood, which was both rewarding and challenging.
Juggling my studies, taking care of my child, and managing the household was like riding a rollercoaster. But each hurdle taught me valuable lessons about time management, resilience, and prioritization. Despite the challenges, I remained focused on my goal.
Once I completed my degree, I furthered my professional journey by obtaining certifications as a Diabetic Educator and a Sports Nutritionist. These certifications allowed me to broaden my expertise and deepen my ability to guide individuals toward healthier lifestyles.
Starting my professional life was another exciting chapter. It came with its own set of challenges, as I transitioned from being a student to a consultant dietitian. But the passion I had for helping people make lasting, positive changes in their health kept me motivated every step of the way.
I have a total of 14+ yrs experience in the field of nutrition. Today, I continue to grow and evolve, learning from each experience and striving to make a difference in the lives of those I work with.
I previously worked with Apollolife before launching my own online dietary consultation service. I offer personalized meal plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, making small adjustments to their current eating habits. Since everyone is unique, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to nutrition.
How did you discover your passion?
I discovered my passion for nutrition early on, even before I knew where it would take me. Growing up, I was always curious about how food affects the body and how it can help people feel better.
Over time, this curiosity turned into a deeper interest, especially when I saw the difference good nutrition made in my own life and the lives of those around me.
After becoming a mother, I realized just how important it was to nourish not only myself but also my family. That’s when I knew I wanted to help others discover the power of healthy eating.
Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?
Even when things get tough, what keeps me going is my deep passion for helping others and believing in the power of good nutrition. Knowing that I can make a difference in someone’s life whether it’s helping them manage their diabetes, improve their fitness, or just feel better motivates me every day.
My experiences as both a mother and a professional make me understand the struggles that others face, and I know how much a little support can change things for the better.
What also drives me is the constant opportunity to learn and grow in my field. Each new thing I learn, every success story from my clients, and every challenge I overcome adds to my journey. The feeling of making a real impact in people’s lives and knowing that the effort I put in now will pay off in the future is what keeps me moving forward, even when it’s hard.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
I always make time to learn something new, whether it’s through formal education or personal research. This helps me stay open-minded and adapt to changes in both my personal and professional life. for helping people make lasting, positive changes in their health.
No matter how difficult things get, it’s important to keep going. Challenges are part of the journey, but staying focused on your goals helps you overcome them. Managing time between work, family, and personal life is crucial. It’s important to find a balance that works for you, so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
Life is always changing, and there’s always something new to learn. Staying open to learning helps you grow and adapt, both personally and professionally. I am not highly social but being around positive, like-minded people has helped me stay motivated and encouraged during tough times.
The ability to adapt to change and learn from mistakes is essential. Life is unpredictable, and being flexible helps you stay on track no matter what comes your way.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
It’s incredibly rewarding to see my clients achieve great results. Watching them be happy with their transformation brings me a lot of satisfaction.
My daughter, the way she looks up to me makes me want to be the best version of myself. I also find motivation in knowing that I’m setting an example for her, showing her the importance of hard work, balance, and following your passions. Family support is very important.
My mother & My husband who gives constant support. When you grow and evolve you begin to see who genuine people stands by you. True nature is tested in moments of transformation.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
Hard Work and Dedication – Hard work, paired with dedication, helps you overcome obstacles and reach your goals.
Positive Mindset – A positive mindset helps you approach challenges with confidence and resilience.
Passion – Passion keeps you motivated and fuels your drive to keep going, even when things get challenging.
What advice would you give to our readers?
a) Believe in Yourself – No matter how tough things get, always trust in your abilities. Confidence is the first step toward achieving your goals.
b) Take Care of Your Health – Your health is the foundation of everything. Make time for physical activity, eat well, and prioritize your mental well-being. When you feel good, you perform better in all areas of life. Don’t forget to take care of your mental health.
c) Never Stop Learning – Whether it’s in your career or personal life, always seek to grow.
d) Embrace Challenges – Challenges are an opportunity for growth. When you face difficulties, look at them as lessons to learn from, not roadblocks.
e) Stay Consistent – Don’t expect overnight results, but keep moving forward and you’ll see progress.
