Let’s learn more about her incredible journey, her background and her advice for our growing community.
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Malinder:
Could you please share with us about your journey of starting meditation and how you’re guiding thousands of people worldwide?
I started my spiritual journey around 8 years ago. Actually, I was always interested in spiritualism.
Even when I was a child, I always like people who talk about god, about life, about mind, about karma theory.”
I always wanted to know about karma theory. I always wonder, that in this world, why some people enjoy all the blessings of life and on the other hand, some people always suffer. I always wanted to know the unknown dimensions, wanted to see/feel.know that invisible power.
Unfortunately, I had no guidance or resources at that time and my quest was never satisfied. For the last many years, I am deeply into that, read many spiritual books and learnt a lot. It changed my life and my thinking and conditioning too.
It’s a very interesting journey and it’s the real purpose of my life. I share my meditation and motivational videos on social media and my first book on meditation is already in the market and people loved this amazing book.”
People think it’s very difficult to meditate, how did you master it and how can people also meditate to change their lives?
It’s difficult only if you don’t understand its basics and fundamentals. If you understand a few basic aspects as we are already spiritual beings who have a human experience, meditation is not an activity which we need to do on contrary. Meditation is a state of being.
Meditation is not something we need to do separate. We can do all our chorus and life’s activities while being in the meditation state. So if we learnt basics of mind, body and soul and the basics of meditation, it becomes very easy to be in meditate state all the times.”
Now, most of the people are always in their ‘Minds, in their thoughts’. Once you understand how to be out of your mind, how to be out of your thoughts, then you can easily be in a meditative state.
It needs people’s guidance and time too. So in our videos, seminars, in our meditation book, we teach these basic aspects about meditation in a very easy way. People understand it and take massive benefits from it. Do little work on yourself in the starting, then you will reap the fruits of peace, joy, happiness in your life for sure.
Stress is killing people in their lives nowadays. How can “Meditation and Motivation” help people to come out of stress?
Yes, we see that nowadays, people’s lives are extremely stressful and it’s affecting their mental peace, physical health, their relationships and career. In stress, the brain releases stress hormones called cortisol, adrenaline and many other bad neurotransmitters and hormones.
These bad hormones go in our bloodstream, attack our different body parts and damage our mental + physical well-being and we become more stressful and anxious. On the other hand, if we practice meditation by understanding its fundamentals and basics, the same brain now releases good hormone as oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, melatonin and many more good/happy hormones.”
Now, these hormones also go in our bloodstream, go to different body parts and start healing those body parts, start’s cell regeneration in our body. That’s why people who meditate have stronger immunity than those who don’t meditate. Their physical diseases get healed faster than non-meditative people.
Also, meditation creates a beautiful “Aura” around us and this Aura touches and influences others too. So nowadays when stress is running people’s lives, it is very important to introduce meditation into our lives so that we can live a life which touches our own higher self and we can feel the real peace, joy and happiness of our existence.
Tell us how people can start meditating from now to change their lives?
It’s never too late to connect with your real self. As I said earlier, we are already spiritual beings. As we get conditioned by outside conditions, we start forgetting our real identity. We suffered from “Identity Theft.”
Our spiritual identity theft. It’s something like a gold statue is eventually covered with dust and no one knows that underneath its pure gold.
Once the dust is removed, the real shining gold appears again. So now it is time to remove that dust from our own real self which is higher than any golden diamond.
How to remove the dust of conditioning, false beliefs and dust of ego?
By understanding our time nature. By understanding that we are not our mind, we are not our thoughts, we are not our body too. We are pure consciousness, we are energies, we are pure spiritual beings.
This understanding leads us to be in a meditative state. It’s essential in starting to sit down and chant some mantras, do simran, read spiritual books, listen to guided meditation videos, listen to meditation teachers and read their books.
By doing this, once you discipline your mind and develop an understanding about “Awareness and meditation”, then it’s very easy in a meditative state 24 hrs.
Once you are not in your ‘mind and thoughts’ then you are in a meditative state. Start with the first step today to read meditation books, watch/listen to meditation videos and sit for 5-10 minutes quietly.
We discovered that you are engaged in many other activities too in Canada, our audience would love to know more about it.
Besides teaching meditation and alternative healing, I appeared in many TV programmes as a guest to speak on mental health, motivation, depression, addictions and on a positive mindset.
I was also honoured to speak in front of 10,000 people as a VIP guest in Bob Proctor’s workshop in Los Angeles in 2019. I did many seminars and workshops on meditation, motivation, and removing emotional blocks. My book on meditation “50 Meditation Techniques is loved by people hugely.
Besides this, I am honoured as a “Model” in a modelling magazine of Canada this month Jan 2023 and my other appearance on the Cover Page of “Health” and Fitness” magazine is coming in Fb 2023.
I also enjoy riding my motorcycle, playing golf, doing poetry, shayari, yoga, long walks, work out etc. “Models can be spiritual too” is my message to would break the stereotype thinking that if you’re a meditator, you can not enjoy other aspects of life.
On the contrary, when you are a meditator, you can enjoy life with more awareness and consciousness. So be in touch with my work on personal and spiritual growth and let’s grow together
