We recently interviewed MR Om Prakash – Founder and MD of NIDAAN Intelligence Services. He is helping his clients through NIDAAN (Leading Investigation & Risk Management Specialist Team of India). Here is a look at our exclusive interview with him.

Talk us a little about your company please:
NIDAANIntelligence Services (I) Private Limited.
In 2005, the company was started by me and at that time start-up word “NIDAAN” came in my mind because we are resolving the suspense/doubt of our clients with the help of concrete evidence. So, the name NIDAAN is here in front of you. It’s incorporated as a Private Limited on 22nd of March 2017.
NIDAAN Intelligence has celebrated its 14th Anniversary on 1st of January 2019.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
I hate fraudsters and as per my opinion “Our country should be free of fraudsters”. I love doing the job of Police, CBI, CID, Defense etc. So, I got stuck with an idea of starting my venture NIDAAN. I started planning to launch my own venture and after complete planning; I launched NIDAAN on 1st of January 2005.
I never like restricted life and believe in own. So, it motivated me to start my own venture. Then, we moved up the ladder from there & we are growing day by day.
What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?
I make a goal every day in the morning & make sure that those goals are achieved by the end of the day. I believe that it does not matter how slowly I go till the day I don’t stop. One person that can change my life is me. These thoughts make me more energetic & give me the enthusiasm to work the whole day with full of energy.
Why should people choose your products/services?
We are known for our quality. The quality & authenticity of facts which we provide to our clients makes us unique.
What’s your competitive advantage and why can’t it be copied?
Our competitive advantage is our quality & our working style. Everything can be copied except the presence of mind which our officers show during certain situations & complications. In the field of Investigation & Verification, we find the genuinity of documents & projects & the process we use for detecting the fraud is different from others.
What challenges/obstacles did you face in your journey so far?
As like others, I also faced lots of obstacles & failures in my life. There were many times when I was too low in my business & there were many times where I was too high in my business. But in my bad times, I always remembered that only I can change my future & no one else can do on my behalf, & this gave me full of enthusiasm to stand up again. In my good times, I never forgot my ground & always remembered that there is more to achieve in life.
Tell our audience more about your failures? How should one bounce back?
Lots of challenges came in front of me till date. One thing that everyone should remember is ‘Believe in Yourself’. At the time of failures, I only believed in myself & this gave me lots of confidence to step forward for achieving success.
What comes first for you – money or emotions?
I feel a combo of both makes you a successful entrepreneur. Only emotions in business won’t take you the highest level of success. Similarly, only concern for money & not the emotions of people (i.e your employees, your customers or clients) won’t make you successful.
How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?
As we are in Investigation & Verification, an industry where there is lots of pressure for detecting the fraud. Sometimes we are successful in detecting the fraud & sometimes we are not successful in detecting it. But I always keep my mind cool & never panic in difficult situations. Calmness is the best mantra to handle pressure & stress.
What advice would you give to someone starting out, particularly to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Believe in yourself & your ideas because you are the person who can change your world.
