We are aware of your contribution to the ecosystem, talk us through your background and your journey as a women entrepreneur, please;
Starting with a familial backdrop of entrepreneurship, inspired by my father’s example, I embarked on a journey to carve my own path in the business world. My curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Commerce with a focus on accounts, laying a solid foundation for my future endeavours. However, as fate would have it, the dynamic landscape of the aviation industry beckoned during my college years. Encouraged by my father’s wisdom, I ventured into the realms of aviation and hospitality.
Recognizing the need to equip myself with specialized knowledge, I pursued a diploma in Aviation, Hospitality & Travel and Tourism from Annamalai University. Even before completing my course, I secured a position at IndiGo Airlines, where I immersed myself in the intricacies of the industry. Over the course of a decade, the aviation sector became not just a career, but a rich learning ground.
With a decade of industry experience under my belt and the support of my husband, we embarked on a new chapter of entrepreneurship, fueled by a desire for high returns. Acknowledging that mistakes are part of the learning process, we were determined to tread carefully and make informed decisions.
Conducting thorough research, I sought an investment avenue that promised profitability without succumbing to fleeting trends or frivolous spending. Drawing from my aviation background, I recognised the significance of aircraft leasing in the industry ecosystem.
Delving deeper into this niche, I discovered that leasing presented a lucrative opportunity for investment, with many industry leaders diversifying into service-based models, a significant portion of which involved leasing and contractual agreements.
Thus, armed with insights gleaned from my experiences and guided by a strategic vision, I set out to establish a presence in the leasing sector, poised to capitalize on its potential for sustainable growth and financial gain.
What attracts you towards entrepreneurship instead of a corporate career?
Fascinated by the world of entrepreneurship from an early age, I harboured a deep-seated ambition to explore it further. Immersing myself in the narratives of successful entrepreneurs, I gleaned valuable insights into the intricacies of the business landscape.
To deepen my understanding, I engaged in conversations with subject matter experts, dedicating off-hours to visit various departments and glean firsthand knowledge.
Amidst my professional journey, I discerned a promising opportunity within the industry, one that promised returns without excessive risk. However, I quickly realized that the path to building something meaningful demands more than just financial investment—it necessitates a substantial commitment of mental, physical, and emotional energy. It requires courage, resilience, and unwavering persistence, coupled with thorough research and strategic planning.
In this pursuit, the guidance and support of my family became invaluable, providing me with mentorship that eased the challenges along the way. As I navigated the complexities of entrepreneurship, I remained steadfast in my belief that every business venture must offer inherent value and serve a distinct purpose, driving me to forge ahead with determination and purpose.

Despite facing challenges, my unwavering determination and resilience drive me forward. Embracing the values of hustling, hurdling, and tackling challenges head-on, I persevere with a focus on short, realistic goals rather than lofty dreams.

Ultimately, it’s my intrinsic motivation to succeed and effect change that propels me onward. With an unyielding resolve, I confront challenges head-on, confident in my ability to overcome any adversity that may arise.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
It’s essential for me to acknowledge the profound influence of the women in my family on what drives me. Both my late mother and my mother-in-law have been pivotal forces behind my motivation, offering unwavering support and guidance that have shaped me significantly.
Equally crucial is the support of my husband, who not only serves as my pillar of strength but also empowers my business ecosystem, fostering growth and transformation.
Furthermore, my husband’s commitment to celebrating individuality within our relationship creates a nurturing environment free from societal pressures. This belief has deepened our bond and enriched our journey together.
Additionally, I am dedicated to personal growth and development, finding solace and inspiration in continuous learning, and reading. These pursuits not only expand my horizons but also drive my ambition to excel in both personal and professional spheres.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
The strategies that have propelled my personal growth include:

In your opinion what are the keys to success?
I view success as subjective, varying from person to person. For me, it entails achieving a well-balanced life and a flourishing career, but others may define it differently. Understanding one’s personal definition of success is crucial, in guiding the planning and execution of their endeavours.
It’s important to be kind to oneself and avoid placing excessive pressure with high expectations. Setting short-term goals allows for manageable steps toward larger aspirations. Additionally, maintaining curiosity and discipline are key, ensuring continuous growth and progress without over-whelming oneself.
What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?
The present generation exhibits a greater clarity about their career and life compared to previous generations. They adeptly navigate complexities, identifying them to achieve desired outcomes.
However, a notable shortfall lies in their attention span, a crucial element for holistic development. Encouraging choices aligned with long-term goals is paramount.
Skills serve as the linchpin for unlocking a promising future. Therefore, fostering skills, nurturing networks, identifying core strengths, and staying well-informed is imperative. Confidence under-scores every endeavour, empowering individuals to surmount challenges and seize opportunities effectively.
Last but not least, what are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?
One vital lesson I’ve learned and seek to eradicate from practice is comparison; it serves no purpose as each individual has their unique journey and challenges.
Embracing change and allowing room for personal growth is essential, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning.
Lastly, prioritizing time with loved ones and connecting with nature nurtures well-being and fosters a sense of balance in life.
