Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Priyanka:
Talk us through your background and journey so far?
I grew up in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and was very involved in academics throughout my childhood. After school, I attended a university for a degree in science and then a diploma in Computer Applications, which led me to my first employment in the corporate sector.
I quickly realized that wasn’t my passion and decided to switch careers to pursue a job in Education.”
I went back to college to become a trained Teacher and worked in various schools for several years. Since my childhood, I was always drawn to occult and mysticism and eventually, when I got an opportunity to expand my knowledge and skill set in astrology, I pursued my passion.
I now work as an astrologer and absolutely love mentoring and guiding and interacting with people that I get a chance to meet on my journey. It’s been a fulfilling journey so far.
What drew you to the field of astrology and the occult?
I have always been fascinated by the mystical and unknown aspects of life, and astrology and the occult offer a unique way to explore these realms.
How do you believe astrology and the occult can benefit individuals?
Astrology can offer insight into an individual’s personality, strengths, and challenges, which can help them understand themselves better and make more informed decisions.
The occult can provide a framework for exploring spirituality and connecting with higher powers or energies.
How do you approach giving readings or consultations to clients?
I take a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, seeking to understand each client’s unique situation and tailor my guidance to their needs.
I also emphasize the importance of personal agency and self-discovery in any spiritual or cosmic practice.
How do you integrate modern technology and traditional practices into your work?
I use modern tools like astrology software and online platforms to streamline and enhance my work, but I also draw on traditional practices and wisdom to ensure the accuracy and depth of my readings.
How do you balance scientific scepticism with spiritual belief in your practice?
I believe that critical thinking and empirical research can be valuable tools for understanding the world, but I also acknowledge that there are phenomena and experiences that aren’t easily explained by conventional science.
Ultimately, I approach my work with an open mind and a willingness to explore all possibilities.
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
Passion and curiosity: A strong inner drive and fascination with astrology and the occult.
Positive feedback: Receiving positive feedback from clients can be incredibly rewarding to me it helps me feel motivated to continue honing my skills.
Flexibility and adaptation: Being able to adapt to changing trends, techniques, and client needs helps me stay relevant and engaged in my work.
Personal growth: Engaging in practices/activities that support my own spiritual growth helps me stay motivated and engaged in my work. This includes meditation, yoga, journaling, and other personal practices that help me stay connected to my own inner wisdom and spirituality.
What’s the most spiritually fulfilling aspect of your role as an astrologer?
The most spiritually fulfilling part is when clients experience “aha” moments during a reading, realizing their inner truths. It’s a reminder that astrology is a powerful tool for self-realization.
It helps them gain clarity, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of themselves, which can lead to personal growth and better life decisions.
If you could offer a personal mantra to someone curious about astrology, what would it be?
“Embrace the stars within and above you, for they are a mirror reflecting the brilliance of your own unique journey.”
