We are aware of your contributions to the ecosystem; talk us through your background and your journey, please.
As Marianne Williamson said: “Each of us has a unique part to play in the healing of the world.”
I always wanted to help individuals, groups and community by providing a systematic methodical way to manage today’s stressful environment, competition, anxiety, stress, depression and all other related issues as we all are going through in today’s world.
Just like we all want to find out the purpose of our life, I too, after lots of soul searching, found my purpose in life… and it is to empower, help and motivate people to become their best.
I know that coaches usually experience great peace and satisfaction as they live in harmony with their values. Some of the values might include being of service to others, talking about the things that matter the most, making a larger contribution to the world, and helping people achieve their dreams and goals. This triggered the notion of being a Life Coach as it exhibits my own way of life.
How did you discover your passion in ‘Coaching?
I truly believe that being a life coach is a calling. Choosing to become a life coach can be an important decision, emotionally and financially and is, therefore, a little daunting. I wanted to play my part in healing this world and on those lines.
For me, Life isn’t about ordering something to do in a certain way. It is about experiencing the life first and then suggesting to others a possible way to reduce any adverse affect of doing something in a specific phase of life.
Everything is transactional in this world if you see it closely. We all need to know what you have to do and what you don’t have to do. As a person, I am always spiritually and emotionally aligned. I was always seen by my friends, family, relatives and coworkers as someone who is always there to guide, mentor, support and advice in every sphere of their lives.
Also, looking at my strengths of patiently listening to others, able to find holistic solution considering all possibilities and above all, co-create something amazing in life -were some of my traits that helped me decide on a career in Life Coaching.
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
Let me tell you a secret…!!
If you want to help/mentor someone with your life coaching skills is one thing, while setting life coaching as a business is completely different. You need to see things as an entrepreneur as well as a compassionate companion to your clients to achieve their goals, and possibly all kinds of challenges will come your way just like setting up any business from scratch nothing new but nothing easy.
The biggest challenge as a life coach is when clients want to be coached but are not ready for it. They’re afraid to change, even though they know it will be for the better. On top of this, they want quick results even though fear has them so stuck in their comfort zone that changing anything in this schedule, life, thinking, perception, analyzing, reasoning skills are hampered.
I want to ensure my clients get value for my services. Just like any business, in Life Coaching also, you need to build a wide range of skills, and truly discover your capability and believe in yourself.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
Whenever we talk and think about the biggest motivational force or person behind our success journey, the family comes first. Family plays a vital role in our success.
The biggest driving force in my success was the values and principles inherited by my family, especially my father, which helped me to be generous and tolerant towards people.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
Coaching takes time, skill, and careful planning in order for it to be successful. Life isn’t about ordering something to do in a certain way.
Also, looking at my strengths of patiently listening to others, able to find holistic solutions considering all possibilities carefully, asking the right question to bring hidden thoughts out from others and above all, co-create something amazing in life were some of the traits that helped me decide on the career in Life Caching.
You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?
I have always wanted to ensure that my clients get the best coaching services I can offer and as also as a social worker, I want to help women and children for the betterment of their health, education and welfare. I feel it’s important, both to me personally and for the society and the clients, to provide a positive experience.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
There are many different tactics for how to be successful in life, but the strategy that works best for you may depend on what success means to you.
(1) Believe in yourself
(2) Work hard
(3) Take risks
(4) Keep an open mind
(5) Accept your limitations
(6) Treat others with respect and kindness
(7) Never stop dreaming
