As part of this endeavour, we invited Sangeeta Manglani for an exclusive interview with us. Sangeeta is a Spiritual Psychologist, Connection & Life Coach and Founder of Sangeeta Manglani Lifestyle Consulting Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Sangeeta:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

Before mindful connections, and this journey that I’m on, my life was hectic. I was exhausted constantly chasing goals, working full-time, and also running an active household. But my biggest challenge appeared on the horizon when my daughter entered her teenage years. We were constantly at loggerheads, and both of us felt really strongly about the way we felt.

Ultimately, I decided to seek out support, and it was over multiple sessions with my coach that I started to peel back my own layers and understand that my struggle wasn’t really with my daughter, but more with myself and my exhausting lifestyle.

Today, I am no longer that person who is playing catch-up with time. I’ve grown to understand my daughter and our relationship. This isn’t to say that my life is a bed of roses – definitely not because that’s not possible – but instead, I’ve equipped myself with the tools required to be in tune with my strengths and my feelings, therefore turning around potential bad moments into learning experiences.

It was my personal experience that drew me towards a life of coaching. I want people to experience what I had, and I want to be a part of their transformation. So, I decided to take my growth further and got myself accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I then went on to also complete my Post Graduate Diploma in Organisational Development and Business Psychology. I have completed my studies in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica.

Today, I’m a Spiritual Psychologist and Connection Coach. I am driven by the desire to connect with people and enable them to become consciously aware of themselves, their pattern of being, their limitations as well as their strengths. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients gravitate towards a more authentic way of life and being in tune with themselves.

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

Curiosity and the desire to help others grow have been my biggest sources of motivation. Also, I would say that the feeling that when I was struggling someone lifted me and today it’s my turn.

The more I learn, the more I can share and support people in their journey, whether it’s supporting in moving towards better relationships, encouraging self-awareness, or simply offering a new perspective. There’s something fulfilling about contributing to someone’s “aha” moment and this one has another level of fulfilment that is unexplainable.

What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?

A few strategies that have undeniably contributed to my growth include my spiritual journey and the daily commitment I make to nurture it. Every morning, I set aside 15 minutes for myself – whether it’s for self-reflection, journaling, or simply pausing to process my experiences, emotions, and patterns.

I approach life with a desire for continuous learning, keeping an open mind, and viewing every experience as an opportunity to grow. Stepping out of my comfort zone has been essential, as has cultivating a mindset rooted in positivity and gratitude. At the heart of it all, self-love and self-forgiveness have been key pillars in my journey.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

My key to success is authenticity and my heart-centered approach. My consistency, learning and openness to feedback and change.

What advice would you give to our readers?

Growth in any relationship starts with growth within. It’s very important that we take time to truly know ourselves our desires, boundaries, and fears. The deeper the connection with ourselves, the more authentic and fulfilling connections with others will be.

Be patient, lead with compassion, and change does not have to be big, small baby consistent steps go a long way.
