Interview with Siddhi Jain | Architect | Entrepreneur | Interior Designer

Siddhi Jain

At Brilliant Read Media, it is our constant endeavour to identify and share some of the unique and compelling stories from the startup ecosystem. As part of this, we invited Siddhi Jain for an interview with Brilliant Read Media. To say further, Siddhi is an Architect, Entrepreneur and an Interior Designer. Let’s learn more about her background, her inspiring journey so far and her advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Siddhi:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

I am an Architect, Entrepreneur, Interior Designer, BIM Architect, Vastu Architect and an Educator. All of these titles have a story. Our family is into construction and hence I have been on site ever since I was a kid.

Experiencing the beautiful transformation of drawings/ blueprints to reality, nothing to beauty; little did I know, beauty comes with a lot of hard-work and patience. I completed my B.Arch from LTIADS, in 2022 and started my entrepreneurial journey with zero experience of the world!

From being rejected by multiple design firms, working for free and working tirelessly hunting for projects, to doing what I truly love and being paid for the same. I have come a long way and a long way to go.

How did you discover your passion?

As said earlier, I grew up watching homes being built and the fact that every line or even a dot you draft on paper, is ultimately being reflected in reality. This is what we call, “Manifestation”.

It’s sometimes not less than magic. However, we being the creator, are required to be mindful, of course, since ”everything” is built according to the plan provided by us, designers and architects.

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

There’s not one but multiple sources of motivation because everyday is different. However, the most important motivator is myself and my Family. Every member has something to get inspired from.

It can sometimes be difficult and feel pressurized, but its just the fear of failure and making mistakes that stops us. Keep going, no matter what! Life goes on.

What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?

To be honest, I have no strategies because there’s always some changes which messes up the schedule. Hence, No Strategy is the Best Strategy. Go with the flow while focusing on the Price!

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

You are the ‘KEY’. Your success is in your hands. It depends on the work you do every single day to achieve your goals, its in the discipline, your nature with yourself and others, taking responsibility for your actions, showing up even when you are not in the ‘mood’. These are ‘not-so’ little things that lead you towards your true Success.

What advice would you give to our readers?

My advice to everyone would be “Live in the Present & Enjoy”. Do not be harsh on yourself and rest whenever needed. Give your best in every task/ work/ project you take up.

Life is simple and beautiful, but it requires balance. Work-life balance. Shine and do not be afraid of making mistakes. You’ll eventually learn big lessons. Always be happy and spread kindness. Work on yourself first, only then you be able to work for & with others.
