She is an Image Consultant, Coach, Mentor, Brand Stylist, Certified Trainer and Change Enabler. Sinthuja is the Founder of Ever Preen Image Consulting Services. Talk us through your background and your journey, please;
I am a Computer Engineer with a couple of years of corporate experience. After which I took a long break to spend time with my family.
I wanted to restart my career and I started looking for various career options in the fields that I was passionate about. That’s when I stumbled upon ICBI, I was always passionate about fashion and that I can use that to empower people. I knew this was it and decided to become an Image Consultant.”
I became a certified Image Consultant and Soft Skills Trainer from Image Consulting Business Institute (ICBI). I’m currently engaged with ICBI, as a senior trainer and also began my entrepreneurial journey 8 years back conducting comprehensive Image Training Modules empowering individuals to present unique personal and professional appearances, through highly structured and standardized modules on Image Management, Communication through Clothes, Corporate Etiquette, Body Language.
I’m the Founder of Ever Preen Image Consulting Services which has now blossomed into a sought-after company for Image Consulting and Corporate Training. I’m a Brand Stylist and also specialize in One-on-one Image consulting, Personal grooming and Make-up.”
We have offered Image Management solutions to people from diverse backgrounds such as CEOs, Directors, DGM of reputed MNC, Environmental researchers, IT professionals, homemakers etc. Clients include FLEX, Rheinburke IT services, LTTS, Amway, ICICI, HSBC, Dynamic, 3M, Wedo etc.
What made you passionate about ‘Training’?
Many people struggle with poor body image, self-esteem and lack confidence in spite of their talents.
When we train them to enhance their self-image & body image through clothes, it immediately boosts their self-esteem and empowers them to achieve their goals.”
And when I see individuals transform to their best possible self, that gives me immense satisfaction!
‘Ever Preen Image Consulting Services’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving?
When a bird or a cat preens, it smooths its feathers or cleans its fur.
When you preen, you primp and pay careful attention to how you’re dressed and groomed, as if you’re inviting the whole world to watch you.
So in Ever Preen, we help you stay elegantly dressed and groomed always!
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
Yes, we’ve been facing some unforeseen challenges for the past few years due to Covid. However, we need to evolve with time and so now we’ve started training and consulting online as well.
It has helped us build our One-on-One Consultations online as well, we consult Pan India now.
When you do a makeover and see them brimming with confidence, that gratification you get keeps me driven.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
My parents and my husband have always been supportive along this journey. However, I believe that your perseverance to achieve your goal is all that matters.
And reading a lot of books and listening to motivational videos have been my biggest source of inspiration.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
There are a few:
> Ability to take risks & venture into uncharted territories.
> Reading self-help books have helped me grow & they guide me
> Trust your process and believe in your dreams
> Getting out of your comfort zone and challenging myself
You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?
Gratitude and my passion towards work.
When I witness my clients transform to their best beautiful from the inside that keeps me going.”

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?
It would be great if students find out what they are passionate about.
Think about what you would love to do all day long and then build your career around it. When you love what you do, success will follow.
Never lose hope! You can achieve anything your mind can perceive.
