Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Sonali:
Talk us through your background and your journey in the field of New Age Energy Healing, please;
Thank you so much for such kind words, This is surely a path less travelled but, one which is definitely worth a visit.
I was very inclined towards spirituality even as a child and I still remember teaching myself the Mahamrityunjay mantra on my own at the age of 8, at a time when no one else in my house knew it.
My journey started in its true sense at the age of 19 when I did my first transformational program called “The Landmark forum” which taught me the art of non – judgement and holding grievances., post which I did ‘The Art of living with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and I got introduced to the Sudarshan Kriya.
I read the book “Autobiography of a Yogi” and it completely transformed my life by drawing me to my master, Paramhans Yogananda. His presence and guidance made me realize what my true calling was, so I trained in other modalities such as healing your life as taught by the world-renowned lecturer and teacher Louis Hay, Sujok for pain relief, Angel therapy, Switchwords, Angel Card reading.
I am an advanced theta healer and a strong believer of the powers of creator of all that is.”
I believe that we are all born healers and born intuitive. The power lies dormant inside all of us, it’s our own block that stops us from reaching our highest potential and living a life which is meant for our highest and best.
What are some of the effective alternative energy healing techniques and modules you use to heal your clients?
A few alternative energy healing modalities that I usually follow are:
(1) Angel therapy and card reading, Switch words and energy circles,
(2) Understanding and assimilation of spiritual laws of the universe
(3) Making use of affirmations in order to replace negative believe and replace them with positive ones.
(4) Hopponoppon’o technique of healing and use of various guided meditation to work on different areas of our lives.
(5) Practicing writing release letters for forgiving others and ourselves and expressing gratitude for all the blessings in our lives.
(6) One of the most powerful and life-altering programs of ancestral healing where in by the way of hypnosis and various guided mediation we work on the belief system of the participant which is a part of their ancestral lineage.
(7) Last but not least, one of the most powerful technique that has given me the most clarity and semblance is that of the ‘Theta Healing Modality’.
How important is visualisation when it comes to healing oneself? Any other advice or tips for our readers?
A few tips which I give everyone every now and then is firstly the technique of grounding. It’s a very powerful visualization wherein we visualize roots coming out of one feet and going down to the core of mother earth who in turn holds us firmly through the day.
It is best done barefoot and is also known as “Earthing.”
Another tip I usually give is about cutting cords of Attachment with people and situations that are sapping us of our energies in turn affecting our physical, mental and auric space.”
It’s a very powerful visualization wherein we visualize cords with which we are connected to one another being cut by a sword so that we immediately detach from a toxic person or situation. This can be done as many times in the day and as many times as we feel the need.
How does Trauma drive our daily life and what are some of the effective ways to deal with anxiety, stress, pain and chronic trauma?
Anxiety, pain and trauma are all a state of mind and I believe that there is nothing in this universe that can’t be healed. All we need to do is understand our own negative programs that stop us from achieving our highest and best. Once we understand that joy and peace are all within us and the world is a beautiful place.
A few pointers towards positivity that magically work for me are:
(a) Practicing gratitude: Being in gratitude counting your blessings rather than focusing on what you don’t can’t have at the present moment surely helps in shifting a lot for us.
(b) Holding resentments and not practising forgiveness our one of the major reasons for any kind of disease to manifest in our body. The tendency to hold on to grudges/resentments. If we practice releasing these resentments by way of writing release letters a lot will shift for us internally as well as externally.
(c) In the times of the pandemic, we’ve seen people’s mental health really take a toll because of how terrifying the idea of solitude is to so many of us. Therefore, simple spiritual exercises like practising deep breathing, visualizing white light and praying to a higher entity would help.
(d) I also feel that one of our biggest blocks is connecting to our Inner Child, which creates hindrances to our spiritual health, removing these blocks shall enable the power that lies within and create avenues for us to create the vision we want for ourselves as per our highest and best potential.
Other than this, regularly replacing negative thoughts with positive statements, a process called ‘positive affirmations’ is a sure-shot way to happiness, joy, peace and abundance.
How beneficial have you found new age energy Healing practices in your journey of life?
The various new age energy techniques and practices are very simple to understand and very easy to practice or follow.
Simple techniques that I have already spoken about such as grounding, regular guided mediations, use of forgiveness etc. that are mostly being used in different modalities are not difficult to understand and follow, especially if done under the guidance of a good spiritual teacher/healer.
They have helped me create my own tribe of students of all ages who practice life transformational programs with me and enable their own journey of change.
I feel like healing modalities helped me revitalize, rejuvenate and change my worldview a full 180 degrees. I opened my venture, which in more ways than one justifies and perfectly sums up my relationship with healing, a venture which keeps me on the hustle and takes me to the next dimension, a venture I call, Ascension.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
In my opinion, the definition of success varies from person to person. What’s success in my opinion might not seem like success to the other person. Having said that, each one of us has the right to our perspective and there is never a correct or incorrect answer.
For me, success is when a person is happy from within and needs no external stimulus or validation, in other words when our happiness doesn’t rely on other people’s judgement of us we can say one is successful.
This person might not be a very rich person but he or she has found something which most successful people haven’t.
What advice would you give to our readers?
The advice I would like to give to the readers is just that do whatever gives you happiness. Follow your passion as it’s always your passion that will make you successful.
Another piece of advice I would like to give is that failure is a part of life as life can never be a straight line, it will always have its ups and downs, one failure doesn’t define who you are.
So every time you fall, pick yourself up and keep going coz in my opinion it’s the journey that is more important than the destination.
Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?
The most exciting and satisfying part of my journey or job is the fact that I get to meet so many people from different walks of life, different ages, from different backgrounds.
It’s a beautiful feeling to see lives transforming and seeing people get onto the path of spirituality while working on themselves constantly and move closer to their soul purpose.
