She is the Founder of FREIZEIT Media Pvt. Ltd. Let’s learn more about her inspiring journey, background, and advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Neha:
Talk us through your background and your journey as a women entrepreneur, please;
I did my schooling FROM ST. Joseph convent Barh School and further pursued graduation in chemistry Hons. from Bodh Gaya university in Bihar.
So as soon as I graduated from college, I successfully joined my job. I have done my post-graduation in Master of Public Administration from IGNOU University. I have done the German Language from Max Muller Bhawan Delhi. I have connected more industries like Artistic, Sports.
What attracts you towards entrepreneurship instead of a corporate career?
Before I started my company I was connected in 7,8 corporate fields for the job. I got a lot of motivation & experience from there so I want to fulfil public demand by converting that experience into a creative world.
‘FREIZEIT Media Pvt. Ltd.’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving?
Freizeit media is a German name that means ”Free Time”. In India, we are also known as:
1) Freetime.media
2) Freizeitmedia.in
3) Fzmedia.app
4) Freetimeindia.com
It is a platform for short films, series, and documentaries for those users who have a lack of time and they can utilize their short time for entertainment & they can watch anytime anywhere.
It is a worldwide platform, now I am connecting in India & in the future, we will connect the whole world.
What does your company specialize in?
We are Freizeit media, a new start-up in the field of the Entertainment Industry. We specialize in showing films, short films, web series, documentaries, vlogs, and many more. We have a newly-launched OTT platform available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
During this COVID-19 crisis, what are the measures you have undertaken to continue your business without disruption?
During the covid-19 crisis, we faced so many problems. Like deterioration of economic activity, problems related to the content shooting, having trouble in finding investors, the work which was to be done earlier was getting delayed, higher cost and technology issues than ever before for startups, we face complications in network marketing, quality, low- latency, marketplace issue, streaming video that consumers demand. We face all of the above internal issues during a covid pandemic.
What are the business mantras you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?
Be strong as you fight your way to success. The difficulty you face is nothing compared to the joy of success.
What are the three most important lessons you have learned building your startup?
(a) Utilize your whole experience or make your present & future better.
(b) Success is achieved through hard work and struggle.
(c) The biggest challenge in a startup is that people get entangled in the talk of others, which has bad consequences on their work. So work hard, don’t think about results and give your best.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
I only believe in my goddess (Matarani). She is the biggest source of motivation in my life.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
There are a few:
(i) Focus on your daily routine & be positive.
(ii) Stay humble, focused, and blessed.
(iii) Always respect your work.
(iv) Your patience is your strength.
Given the rapid pace at which the world is changing, what are the leadership traits that are necessary for success?
A leader with a vision has a clear idea of where they want to go, how to get there, and what success looks like.
Be sure to articulate your vision clearly and passionately, ensuring your team understands how their efforts contribute to higher-level goals.
Please share with us – what has worked well for you so far?
There are so many entrepreneurs in our country. Just give them respect and appreciate their efforts. I am very happy that a lot of startups have come up in India and they will prove entrepreneurship all over the world.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
I would like to point out some keys to success:
> Persevere never quite.
> Feel good about yourself, take pride in what you do
> Always believe in your positive attitude and luck.
> Hunger to achieve
What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?
Just choose & follow your dream wisely. Someone will come for your help. Just have faith.
