Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Tanve:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
Born in a nuclear family with a perfect mix of modern and traditional values, I come from a humble background. After receiving a degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University I enrolled myself for a small certification in Event Management. Very soon I was working independently and thoroughly enjoying my work day in and day out.
I have always been a high performing individual with a lot of passion for what I do. My endeavours have produced significant results and I’m happy with what I have achieved so far.”
I strongly feel the journey has just started and there is a lot to unravel, lot to conquer and of course lot to learn.
As far as the professional journey is concerned, within 6 months of acting on my decision to take up training I have conducted 3 successful workshops, I am a Super Speaker season 2 finalist, I am a published Author and I even host my own podcast on Spotify.
Right now I am working on building a free community where I share my favourite manifestation hacks that have actually worked for me and even weekly card readings.”
I am also currently in the process of getting certified as a Soft Skills Trainer from a very prestigious institute and holds global accreditation.
How did you discover your passion as a ‘Trainer’?
2014 was the year when I would say my journey as a healer started. As it happens with many of us; Life got the best and the worst of me at the same time then, I am thankful to the Universe that I got introduced to various healing modalities at such a tender age, which have stood by me all these years and still in the process.
This helped me immensely in my pregnancy as it was a tricky one. I decided to take a break in my career to embrace motherhood. With lockdown, I realized that my child needs me more than ever and so I started researching options to get back on my feet around my newly accepted life as a wife and a mother.”
Instantly; Healing, Motivational Speaking and Training came to light. I have rejoiced as life came in full circle as far as I am concerned. Back in my school days, I was always in leadership roles, I won many accolades in public speaking and I loved to spread awareness and wellness around all the time.
I remember doing a crash course in soft skills in 2002 as a vocational course and I remember being mesmerised after.
I feel extremely blessed as Universe has been so kind as to make me a creative channel through which I can find various ways to help those in need.”
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
I have embraced many aspects of spirituality in my ways of leading life and so my beliefs to face challenges also fall in the same jargon.
When something goes haywire I spend a lot of time to first accept the situation the way it is.”
Practising surrender is one of the biggest challenges we all face. I believe that we all have been blessed with only one life and whatever happens (even if it looks like some free will is involved), happens for a reason.
This very thought drives me towards inner peace. One of my mentors says failure is not a result it’s just awareness of changing the perspective and a reminder to believe in oneself. I believe only if we look of answers, is when we would find them.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
They say life is like a car with four steady wheels and fuel to operate ahead. If either of them are missing the whole point of building a car is lost.
For me, those wheels are my son, my husband, my parents & family and my passion. All hold equal importance to me. The fuel however is that force that comes in me through the trust, love and confidence that they show in me and the immense respect and support that they have for me.
This is the biggest achievement for me till date. This is what motivates me every day in Author James Clear’s words, “to be one per cent better every day”.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
To name a few and I actually practice them in my mind are:
> I never show and express regret. I feel if we practice mindfully to channelize our energies elsewhere more productivity will be achieved.
> Respect everyone and do it without expectations, even if it’s hard to show respect to some people, remember your karma is the one that’s getting elevated, that’s something, isn’t it.
> Surround yourself with those who actually respect you, love you and care for you and genuinely wish to see you grow. And if you can’t; practice self-love, that works wonders.
> Be as easygoing as possible, our life is meant to be enjoyed, not to be treated as a fixing project.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
Earl Nightingale once said, “Success is a progressive realization of a worthy ideal”. Success is a celebration of completing one’s goals. So if we break down the key to success is literally creating a favorable correlation between what we believe in and what we want to achieve.
Some beliefs that I have learnt over the past few years that have led me to success are:
(a) Embrace change like no one else
(b) Take responsibility for one’s own choices
(c) Do not feel threatened if you have to bend down for some situations, they teach a lesson.
(d) Use speed as a tool for success. Gauge when you should slow down and when you should plunge for an opportunity.
(e) Accept one of the virtues as your core value and follow it, be it being positive, resourceful, trustworthy, mindful, etc.
(f) Be consistent and hopeful at the same time
(g) Do not feel intimidated to be yourself. Even the Gods are criticized sometimes, we are mere humans.
What advice would you give to our readers?
Never compare your journey with anyone else’s. Being inspired and then taking action is one thing, but doing something out of FOMO is completely unnecessary.
I have been given this platform to share my views with you, but I urge each one of you to embrace your uniqueness and your individuality.”
You are one of a kind, be proud of it. Doesn’t matter whether you did or didn’t do anything worthwhile today, the fact that you made it this far in life in itself is a big achievement.
Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?
I am a lifelong learner. I love learning and exploring something new always. Implementing those teachings so that someday someone will be able to find solace and hope back in their lives, feels very satisfying.
The light in all those people’s eyes when they show how they have been benefitted genuinely through my service is what my journey so much more exciting. I am always ready to serve. Lots of love and power to everyone and all the credit to my Mentors
