Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Vineetha:   

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

Growing up in an Armed Forces background shaped me in unique and profound ways. It instills values such as discipline, adaptability, and resilience, while also providing a broader worldview through exposure to different cultures and environments. Change was constant and I enjoyed the change which was a very big part of my life in my growing years.

Frequent postings to different regions allowed me to experience diverse cultures, traditions, and viewpoints. This exposure fosters open-mindedness, awareness, and an appreciation for diversity.

Transitioning from a corporate career to pursuing a passion in the Wellness Industry was a deeply fulfilling journey, but it requires careful planning and self-reflection. While the corporate life taught me the Skills like project management, communication, leadership, and strategic thinking to name a few. However, Deep down I was inclined towards gaining a deeper insights/Knowledge on the Holistic Wellness.

As years passed this passion in me grew strongly and finally in the year 2017, I left my corporate job to follow my passion. I got myself certified as Hatha Yoga Trainer from the Prestigious Andhra University (Diploma in Yoga & Consciousness) and later as Happiness/Mindfulness coach from the world’s Leading Mindfulness company, Happittude.

Since then, I have collaborated with corporates and educational institutes and embark them on the journey of the self through mindfulness practices. This journey helps me to empower individuals with a positive frame of mind and make them a conscious human being.

How did you discover your passion?

Discovering my passion is a journey of self-awareness and inner exploration, aligning my personal values with what brings me joy and fulfilment. Working with big corporates gave me a great insight into what are my core values and purpose in life. I began Practicing Mindfulness on myself. It started with lot of self-introspection into what brings me a sense of joy, flow, and purpose. 

Often, our passion is tied to personal experiences and growth. I was fortunate to be surrounded by supportive Friends/Family who offered me their perspectives on what lights me up and how I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Discovering your passion is a process. Be patient with yourself and allow time for experimentation, growth, and clarity to develop naturally.

Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?

As a happiness coach and a wellness trainer, self-belief is a fundamental pillar for guiding others toward joy and fulfilment. It is the foundation that allows me to authentically inspire others. When you deeply trust in your ability to bring positive change, it reflects in your coaching approach, fostering a strong connection with those you support. Self-belief allows me to approach each challenge with confidence, develop inner strength and resilience. By embodying self-belief, you model how embracing one’s potential can lead to greater happiness, balance, and a more fulfilled life.

Passion is my driving force. It fuels my commitment to help others discover their own joy and well-being. When you’re passionate about your work, you approach each session with energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of your clients. This passion is contagious—it inspires and motivates those you coach, helping them to tap into their own purpose and passions.

My passion not only sustains my efforts but also deepens my empathy and creativity in finding personalized strategies for each client’s journey to happiness. Ultimately, it enhances my effectiveness and impact that I create.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?

Value Yourself: Valuing yourself is an essential part of personal growth and well-being.Protect your energy and time by setting clear boundaries in relationships, work, and personal life.Surround Yourself with Positive Influences. Be around people who uplift and support you. Healthy relationships contribute to your sense of self-worth. Valuing yourself is an ongoing process, more you practice, the stronger your sense of worth becomes.

Follow your dream: Following your dreams is about embracing your passions, pursuing what excites you, and believing in your ability to create the life you envision. Dreams stay dreams unless you act. Break your goals down into smaller, manageable steps, and consistently work toward them. Each step forward is progress. Following your dream is not just about the destination but the journey. It takes courage, commitment, and faith in your vision.

Learn to forgive yourself: Forgiving yourself is a powerful act of self-compassion and healing. It allows you to let go of guilt, self-blame, and past mistakes, helping you move forward with a sense of peace. Don’t seek approvals or validation from others. Learn to accept yourself the way you are however don’t become complacent. Forgiving yourself is act of strength, not weakness. Allow yourself to release the burden of the past and embrace the possibility of a better future.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

For me following factors are key to success.

1) Blessings of your parents: They carry a special significance in shaping a person’s life, as a source of guidance, protection, and success.

2) Work on Self Improvement: It involves setting goals, acquiring new skills, and cultivating habits that contribute to personal and professional success. Continuously seek growth, it will in turn   lead you to greater fulfillment and success.

3) Practice Gratitude: Cultivate and practice gratitude in your daily life. It shifts your focus from what’s lacking to what you have.

4) Self-Love: Practice Self-love. It involves treating yourself with kindness, respect, and compassion, and recognizing your own worth.

5) Nurture relationships: Nurturing relationships helps in building strong, healthy connections with others, whether they’re friends, family members, or romantic partners. Investing in these relationships helps create a network of love and support that enriches your overall well-being.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

Always look for means and ways to constantly re-invent yourself. Be a better version of yourself and focus on progress.

Invest in learning a new skill and upgrade yourself.

Have the thirst for knowledge and learn newer things/Skills that will accelerate your growth in your chosen path.

Be genuine in your approach don’t look for shortcuts or smart acts. In the Long run people who are genuine will stay and grow.

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

My ideology of mindfulness makes my journey exciting and meaningful. My Choices are clearer and the actions I put forward are more aligned.

Life will always show up with highs and lows but what really matters is the ability to navigate them with a conscious mind and an open heart.
