Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Yvonne:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

My journey began in the corporate world, where I gained valuable experience in a structured environment. However, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to Dubai, where l found my true calling in event planning and wellness advocacy.

I focus on creating impactful networking events that foster connection and growth. My roots have shaped my journey, instilling in me the compassion and motivation that drive my work today.

Alongside event planning, I became passionate about holistic wellness, particularly through Healy devices, which enhance well-being on multiple levels. Kangen Water has also played a role in this journey, aligning with my goal to help people achieve balance and vitality.

How did you discover your passion?

I discovered my passion for connecting people and promoting well-being through my work in events and personal experiences with holistic health. Creating events where individuals can collaborate, grow, and share ideas showed me the power of community.

My wellness journey began when I experienced the transformative effects of Healy devices, which help balance energy, improve physical health, and support personal growth.

Seeing how these tools impacted my life and those around me fueled my desire to combine event planning with wellness advocacy. My family has been a constant support system, encouraging me every step of the way.

Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?

During tough times, I find strength in the communities I’ve built and the unwavering support of my family. My work with Coffee Meetup with Yves and Creating Connections with Lara and Yves serves as a reminder of the positive impact I am making.

Seeing over 200 members at my coffee meetups and over 300 people in my weekly speaker sessions grow and connect keeps me motivated. Additionally, Healy has been a powerful tool in my own journey, helping me stay balanced and energized.

My family’s constant encouragement also plays a huge role in keeping me grounded and resilient.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is to never forget your roots. Staying grounded in where you came from fosters compassion, humility, and a strong sense of purpose.

I have also learned the power of consistency—showing up every day, whether it’s for events or wellness advocacy, builds long-term success. Another key lesson is embracing change.

My transition from corporate life to entrepreneurship and the integration of Healy into my career has shown me that growth often comes from taking bold steps in new directions.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

1. Passion: Passion drives everything I do, from organizing events to advocating for wellness, particularly with Healy. It’s essential to be truly invested in what you do.

2. Persistence: Success doesn’t happen overnight. Persistence helps you push through challenges, stay focused, and continue working towards your goals even when things get tough.

3. Staying connected to your roots: Remembering where you come from keeps you grounded, humble, and motivated. It helps you remain authentic and focused on your purpose.

4. Support system: Surrounding yourself with a strong support network, like my family, is crucial. Having people who stand by you, offer guidance, and provide encouragement can make a significant difference.

5. Community and collaboration: Success is often a collective effort. Building and nurturing communities that support each other, like the ones I’ve created through my events, is key to long-term success.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

My advice to students and young professionals is to stay true to your values and remember your roots. Don’t be afraid to pivot or explore new paths—growth often comes from embracing change. Build meaningful relationships and cultivate a strong support system that will guide and encourage you.

My family has been my anchor throughout my journey, and having a reliable network is crucial. Lastly, prioritize your well-being. Tools like Healy can help you stay balanced and energized, allowing you to excel both personally and professionally.

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

What makes my journey truly exciting and satisfying is the positive impact I’m able to make in people’s lives. Whether it’s connecting individuals through events or helping them improve their well-being with Healy, I see the transformation happening every day.

The communities I’ve created, have become spaces of growth, collaboration, and empowerment. Being able to blend my love for event planning with my passion for holistic health, while having the support of my family, makes every step of this journey fulfilling.
